A no-good very bad post

Screen Shot 2016-05-20 at 9.41.25 AM

I was literally just crying. This is TWICE in a week I hit that big, evil “publish” button on accident.

But this time was even worse. I sent out a post that was literally just jiberjabber that I was typing. And now you all know what my next post is gonna be… This stinks. So bad.

Please–if you haven’t already read my last, awful email, DON’T!! Go back and delete it right now. You will be much happier to read it in a couple of days, edited and picture-full… Trust me.

Why can’t wordpress just ask if you’re sure you want to publish your post before sending off 100 emails to all your followers?!

Hey–mistakes happen, right? But hopefully this is the last time I publish a post unedited and un finished.

Has this ever happened to you?

♥Hayley

  1. It’s alright, girl! I know how awful it can be! On our colab blog, once I published something that said all our PRIVATE EMAIL INFO! I felt SO bad. 😥 But it’s alright! People make mistakes! 😛 We’re human! 😛

  2. YES I KNOW *EXACTLY* HOW YOU FEEL
I’m sorry that bad to happen, Hayley. Just remember that you are NOT the only one in this! 🙂 (prime example right here 😋)

  3. Oh, don’t feel so down, Hayley, it can happen to anyone. I’m always worried that I will click the publish button instead of the save draft button. I guess we all have to be more careful. 🙂

  4. Don’t worry, I’m sure it has happened to everyone! There’s no problem, and definitely no need to stress over it!
That’s happened to me! Thankfully it was at a point where it seemed that my post was finished! Phew!

  5. Aww, it’s okay, Hayley! Take heart! XD That has happened to me sometimes too. 😦 Even though I can “revert to draft” it just feels bad knowing that someone read your post-in-the-rough thinking it was a real post. But I for one didn’t actually even see your last post yet, so nothing’s spoiled for me! Now I really can’t wait to read it. 😉 Oh, and by the way, I LOVE that duck picture on your poster – so funny! XD

  6. I completely agree with you that there should be a “confirm” button before it goes to published. I’ve had this happen twice, the second time I haven’t got a clue as to how it even happened because I was so careful after the first time. Not a huge fan of wordpress to be honest, their platform is way too buggy. I feel your pain!!
