Hi. My name is Bixby. My humans call me “Bix,” and I like it.
And I’m Hayley’s body guard. Sometimes it can be boring. But I’m willing to make that sacrifice for Hayley’s safety. Because she is the littlest, you know?
I also get paid for all my hard work with lovin’ every hour or so.
I love Hayley. I would never, ever let ANYONE hurt her. And without me, I don’t know what would happen–bad things, that’s what!
What does it entail to be Hayley’s body guard? Lots.
I have to constantly be by her side, bark whenever I hear any weird noises when she’s home alone (to scare off the bad guys), obey her every command, let her take pictures of me, and play with her whenever she wants (that’s my favorite part).
My job is very important. And I wouldn’t give it up for the world.
I love my Hayley. And she loves me.
Do you have a body guard?
Aw, Bixby is an awesome dog. 🙂 My dog, Maude, is sweet but a little jumpy. She likes to run and can’t stay still for long!

He sure is. I’m sure Bixby would love Maude, our other dog, Maggie never wants to play with him so he’d like to have someone to play with :). How old is Maude? Sound like she’s a pup.

I bet Maude would love him, too! 😉 She is 3 years old. She still acts like a puppy, though!

Bix is 3 too! But he will be turning 4 in the end of December. Bixby sometimes acts like a puppy still :).

Bix is so cute! Our dog Maggie used to bark almost half the night and my dad wasn’t impressed. She doesn’t do it much anymore though. 😀

I know :). Bixby never barks unless he hears something that he doesn’t like. Me and my family can’t STAND barker dogs.

Same…they give me a headache. My dog only barks if she really needs something. 🙂

I guess so! My cat is very attached to me! She hisses at every dog or human that asses by our house! It is very cute! One time, A stray cat came into our yard. My cat is an indoor cat and we have a glass door! So the stray and my cat were having a fight behind the door! It was so funny!

Bixby, you are an adorable dog! And I’m sure you’re a great bodyguard!
My dog cares more about food than protecting me…LOL. 😉 But she does love me and comes to say good morning most days when I wake up. 🙂

Hi Sunny, Thank you! I try my best, Hayley sure thinks I am. Your dog sounds like my “sister” named Maggie. I wish I could sleep with Hayley but mommy says I can’t go upstairs. –Bix

[…] On the 29th of December, I went to bed with 12 inches of snow covering the ground, with more coming down from the heavens. I woke up the next morning, and jumped right out of bed. I slipped on my jeans, my coat, and my bean boots and grabbed my camera. I ran out into the winter wonderland with my loyal (and energetic), snow-loving body guard. […]
